Why should I give to UMSON?
When you support UMSON, you become a partner in providing quality nursing education. With state support of higher education continuing to decline, your gifts are even more important. Gifts to academic programs, scholarships, faculty support, the Living History Museum, the Clinical Simulation Laboratories, or to other important program areas will help the School to continue its mission to shape the profession of nursing by developing nursing leaders in education, research, and practice.
How can I give online?
Use your credit card to make a gift online.
What forms of donations are accepted?
Cash, checks, money orders, and credit cards are all accepted. Please make all checks payable to the University of Maryland Baltimore Foundation, Inc.
Who can I speak to with questions about my gift?
Please contact the Development Office at 410-706-7640. You can also call this number to make a credit card gift. Email requests may be sent to nicole.nash@umaryland.edu.

Can I choose where my gift is designated?
Yes, you can direct your gift to any designation that you’d like. If you are mailing your gift, please indicate your designation on your returned form or enclose a note with your check. Or, if you are making a gift online, please indicate your designation choice in the “Areas of Support”section on the giving page.
Once my gift is processed, will I receive a receipt that I can use for tax purposes?
Yes, the University of Maryland Baltimore Foundation, Inc. will mail a tax receipt to you. If you do not receive a receipt for your gift, please contact the Development Office at 410-706-7640.
Can I make a gift in honor of or in memory of an individual?
Yes, you can. When you are making your gift online, please use the “In honor/in memory of” ” box to note who this gift is in honor of/in memory of and who you’d like us to notify of this gift. If you are mailing your gift, please include a note with this information.
My company matches my charitable gifts – do you accept matching gifts?
Yes! This is a wonderful way to multiply your investment in UMSON. Once you have obtained a matching gift form from your company’s human resource department, complete it and mail it to:
