About
Overview
The Summer Institute in Nursing Informatics (SINI) is constantly evolving to meet the needs of nurse informaticists who are leading and supporting health care through major paradigm shifts that force an integrated patient experience in a complex system. Meaningful Use has sparked major change in how health care information systems support these shifts. SINI 2012 will focus on informatics and the transformation of both the role of the nurse and the health care enterprise through the paradigm shift. To support the integration efforts of a currently fragmented, complex system, SINI 2012 will include a working track that will lead those involved through an exploration of the policies, operations, workflows, and technical standards that will enable and support interoperability.
