School Web Sites
School of Nursing Web Site
Launched September 1, 2005 the School site is designed with XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Separate style sheet were developed for screen and print, and additional style are in development for non-traditional devices (such as PDAs and cell phones). The new site was developed with the Web Standards, and has been reviewed and approved by the Web Standards Project Educational Task Force.
School Press Releases News
Redesigned press releases to resemble and complement print version. The masthead was recreated for this project since an electronic version did not exist.
School Career Fair & Career Center
Created career fair Web site with and for students, exhibitors, and alumni. Similar design was developed for career center site for students and alumni
Nursing Society Web Site
Redesigned Sigma Theta Tau Web site for the school's chapter. New masthead was created as well as colors to reflect international colors.
Online Learning Module
Designed complementary Web sites for undergraduate and graduate online learning modules. These are the template for each Web-based course being offered at the School of Nursing.
Conference Sites & CDs
Summer Institute in Nursing Informatics
Created Web site and CD-ROM to complement print publications for the 14th and 15th annual conferences. Included in the project was the development of multiple new headers. Sixteenth annual site and CD are in development.
Fall Lecture Series
Created Web sites to complement print publications for Suzanne Gordon and Tim Porter-O'Grady fall lectures. Included in this was an e-marketing campaign that incorporated the Web sites into e-mails sent to prospective participants.
Evidence Based Practice
Created Web sites to be the primary means for marketing the past three evidence based practice conferences.
Grant-Funded and Research Sites
Learning Module for Older Adults
Developed Web site to be used by senior citizens to help prevent falls and hip fractures. Development included integration with streaming media and Flash-based quizzes. Usability testing was part of the site's development for an NIH grant.

Each survey was created in collaboration with faculty and students for research in Nursing-related fields.
