Tours Consultations

Guidelines:

The following is a description of charges for University of Maryland School of Nursing (SON) tours of the Clinical Simulation Labs (CSL) as well as consultations (less than one day) by type and organization affiliation.

Note:

The following costs are standard estimates only. The estimates costs per tour and per consultation will be individually determined based on the information provided prior to the visit. Actual fees may be modified after the tour or consultation has been conducted. Please contact the SON Clinical Simulation Labs office for more specific details and guidance in setting up a tour or consultation.

I Tour of specific clinical simulation labs only (30 minutes) $50.00/hr
II Tour of labs & other approved SON areas and moderate discussion (1-4 hours) $100.00/hr
III Tour of labs, consultation, allocation of written materials, extensive discussion on simulation (2-8 hours) $150.00/hr plus cost of materials provided (copying, CD Rooms, books etc.)
IV Tour of labs, consultation, allocation of written materials, extensive discussion on simulation. In order to meet objectives requested, preparation prior to visit by Director, staff or other faculty is required (add $75.00/hr to the cost of Level III) $150.00/hr plus cost of materials provided (copying, CD Rooms, books etc.)

Add $75/hr for staff preparation time
Note: All costs listed are estimates and will be made final by the Clinical Simulation Lab staff after specific details are determined.
