ILT Customer Service Center

Part of the Office of Information & Learning Technologies, the ILT Customer Service Center oversees the day-to-day functioning of the School's media needs, and acts as a liaison between ILT departments, the SON, the UMB campus and other professional organizations.

The ILT Customer Service Center is staffed Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Our Services

Distance Learning

The office of ILT schedules the distance learning rooms located in SON. Rooms W202 and W208 are available on a daily, monthly or per semester basis. There is a unique systems that governs the use and connectivity of these rooms. Rooms W202 and W208 are part of Interactive Video Network (IVN) that can connect to compatible systems locally, nationally and internationally.

AV Support & Maintenance

The ILT staff is available to assist the requestor with AV technical assistance and support. Special events, classroom support, AV technical training and troubleshooting are all services available via the Helpdesk. Our service window is also available for use and signout of TV/VCR, audio equipment, slide projectors, LCD projectors and easels with paper and pens for your educational and meeting needs. ILT also initiates toner and printer maintenance on a select number of printers available at SON. If your printer is under the SON contract, please contact the Helpdesk with a request for printer service including the printer type and serial number.

Videotape Library

The ILT staff maintains a course-related VHS videotape library which is available to all SON students and faculty. Videos can be checked out at the customer service counter in room 211 during regular hours. The following videos are available:
