RN to Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing

The RN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program at the University of Maryland School of Nursing allows registered nurses to broaden their education and greatly increase their career options. Through the program, critical thinking skills are sharpened, communication and leadership abilities are strengthened, and relationships are built with other highly motivated students. Research concepts are woven throughout the curriculum and evidence forms the foundation for learning and practice. Before matriculating, all students must complete a minimum of 59 undergraduate credits in the social and behavioral sciences, the natural and physical sciences, and the arts and humanities. Full-time or part-time options are available to complete the program and credit is awarded for prior education and experience. The RN to BSN is offered at the Baltimore campus and at the Universities at Shady Grove campus in Rockville, Md.

RN to Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing Online

The School of Nursing offers a Web-based RN to BSN degree program which is certified by the Southern Regional Electronic Board’s Electronic Campus. Students complete the program online and work with a preceptor in their geographic area to complete clinical requirements.
