The University of Maryland School of Nursing (UMSON) is seeking a doctoral-prepared Adult and Gerontological Nurse Practitioner Faculty Member to teach in our innovative Adult and Geriatric Nurse Practitioner master’s specialty. UMSON incorporates an interdisciplinary team of faculty and guest lecturers into these courses and provide students with a variety of learning opportunities.

Founded in 1889, UMSON is a nationally ranked, top-tier school, enrolling more than 1,700 students in its baccalaureate, master’s, and doctoral programs. UMSON emphasizes the integration of education, research, and practice, and serves regional, national, and international audiences.
The Department of Organizational Systems and Adult Health is involved in UMSON’s baccalaureate, master’s and doctoral programs. It offers a diverse array of master’s specialties, including Adult and Gerontological Nurse Practitioner (NP); Trauma, Critical Care, and Emergency Nursing (CNS, NP); Nurse Anesthesia; Health Services Leadership and Management; and Nursing Informatics. Several certificate programs, including Oncology Nursing and Teaching in Nursing and Health Professions, are also offered.
