The department’s mission is to advance the mission of the School, its faculty, and its students through building external partnerships for practice, continuing education, and research that achieve the School’s strategic goals and provide the School’s alumni and other health care professionals with lifelong learning opportunities.
The Office of Strategic Partnerships supports the goals of the UMSON by identifying partnerships; assessing value to the School; and developing, operationalizing, and evaluating mutually agreed upon goals and agreements with organizations and health care entities that advance the School’s vision.
The Office of Professional Education develops, implements, and evaluates continuing professional and interprofessional education programs that address emerging issues in education, practice, and research. In addition, this office administers the UMSON’s ANCC accredited program for awarding continuing nursing education credit.
The Office of Clinical Enterprise includes the work of the Governor’s Wellmobile Program, School-Based Health Programs, and faculty practice initiatives.
The Coordinator of Legal Affairs works with University Counsel to provide legal support to School personnel in the School’s administrative functions.
