Doctoral Student Research Grant |
Biannual, due June 1 (awarded July 15); or Dec. 1 (awarded Jan. 15) Please note: Applicants for the Doctoral Student Research Grant who are enrolled in UMSON doctoral programs must submit their applications through the UMSON Office of Research. Any chapter member who is a student in a PhD, DNP, or other doctoral program; award of funding is contingent on receiving IRB or IACUC approval. |
$1,500 maximum per award – one in summer, one in winter ($3,000 per year) |

PhD Dissertation Award |
Annual, due April 20 and awarded at Spring Induction Ceremony | Chapter member; successful defense of dissertation within one year; certified to graduate in May |

Scholarly Presentation Award |
Biannual, three awards each in fall and spring semesters. Due on a rolling basis but must submit at least four weeks before date of presentation, Awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. |
Chapter member; presenting author; scholarly presentation (podium or poster) accepted through peer-reviewed process; may not have received an award in the past three years |
$400 per award - three in fall and three in spring ($1,200 per semester, $2,400 per academic year) |

BSN Senior Practicum Poster Awards |
Biannual, fall and spring (three awards per semester, two at UMSON, one at the Universities at Shady Grove) |
At least one co-author of the poster must be a chapter member or is being inducted that semester |
$250 per award x6 per year ($750 per semester, $1,500 per academic year) |

Master’s Student Scholarship Award |

Chapter member; student in good standing in MS program; must have completed at least nine credits or first semester of program Please note: Master's students may only receive one award during the course of their studies. |
