Oral/systemic links foster collaboration amongst health professionals. The University of Maryland, Founding Campus’ administration is committed to interprofessional education. As UM nursing and dental hygiene faculty strive to create an effective interprofessional education model, they will share their approaches to change, structural challenges faced, guides for success, and resultant curricular innovations.
