Clinical Research Review Committee (CRRC)
The focus of the Clinical Research Review Committee is to review proposals prior to submission to the UMB IRB. The IRB has mandated that all Schools or Departments have this pre-IRB review mechanism in place.
The SON CRRC conducts electronic reviews every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month. Proposals and supporting materials are due in the Office of Nursing Research on the Friday prior to the next meeting. No exceptions are made to this policy since the reviewers need adequate time to review the proposals. Submitted materials are only accepted in electronic format (i.e., email with attached Word documents).
