University of Maryland School of Nursing Announces Fall Open Houses

Baltimore, Md. – The University of Maryland School of Nursing will host three open houses for prospective students this fall. All three events will be held at the School of Nursing, 655 W. Lombard Street, Baltimore.

Doctoral Open House: Monday, October 29, from 5 to 9 p.m. The doctoral open house features educational opportunities in the doctoral program. Participants will learn about research opportunities from preeminent faculty researchers and currently enrolled students in 10 targeted research areas.

Master's Open House: Thursday, November 1, from 5 to 9 p.m. The master's open house features educational opportunities available in the master's programs, including the RN-MS option. Participants will have the opportunity to meet with faculty specialty area coordinators representing over 20 master's specialty areas, including acute care nurse practitioner, primary care nurse practitioner, nursing informatics, nursing administration, and behavioral and community health.

Undergraduate Open House: Saturday, November 10, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The undergraduate event is designed to acquaint people interested in a nursing career with the many degree options available at the School of Nursing. Faculty and current students will be on hand to address questions on academic study and student life.
