Test Scoring Service

The University of Maryland Center for Information Technology Services (CITS) provides test scoring services to the University for multiple choice exams using Remark Office OMR, a form-processing software for surveys and tests. This software recognizes optical marks (bubbles and checkboxes) and barcodes.

Since the Remark system is able to score either single or multiple response assessments on the coversheet, it is important to indicate what type of assessment is being scored. Without this information, test sheets may be scored incorrectly and may require rescoring.
