Moving Evidence to Action in Nursing Education

The purpose of this conference is to examine the best evidence for teaching nursing students.  Examples of applying evidence in a variety of teaching strategies will be shared.  The impact of using evidence in teaching is emphasized.

Objectives

Upon completion of this conference, the participants will:

  1. Examine research and other evidence on teaching and teaching methods in nursing
  2. Describe implications of current research for designing instruction and teaching in nursing
  3. Identify future directions in nursing education and implications for what and how we teach
  4. Identify ways to incorporate an evidence-base into teaching in nursing education.
