Overview

The University of Maryland School of Nursing’s Institute for Educators in Nursing and Health Professions is pleased to be hosting a cutting-edge conference focused on Excellence in Teaching Nursing. Presentations will be offered in three tracks: Teaching in the Classroom, Teaching in Clinical Settings, and Teaching with Technology. Nationally acclaimed speakers will address a range of topics including:

  • Active learning strategies
  • Concept-based curricula
  • Teaching in the clinical setting
  • Integrating simulation into teaching
  • Teaching with Second Life, wikis, blogs, and Web conferencing
