Teaching Better, Working Smarter:  Practical Strategies

How often have you and your team asked yourselves, “How can we teach better and work smarter?” This lively, learner-centered conference offers information on a variety of high-impact instructional methods that will allow you to teach more effectively and engage students in their learning. 

Throughout the day you will have the opportunity to gain insights from instructional experts, share your own teaching successes and near misses, and learn from the experiences of your peers. 

The collective expertise of experienced educators will allow participants to augment their teaching repertoires with new ideas and practical strategies.

Objectives

Upon completion of this conference, participants will have:

  1. Explored the value of including high impact strategies in their teaching practice
  2. Proposed creative ways to move ideas from vision to reality
  3. Delineated practical strategies to become more effective and efficient faculty members
