Application Process
Review Process
Students whose applications and required transcripts (including the current semester of enrollment), as well as course descriptions, if applicable, are received by the Office of Admissions no later than February 1, will be considered for admission for the subsequent fall semester. Applications received by September 1 will be considered for admission for the subsequent spring semester.
BSN Applications that are incomplete or received after the deadline dates will not be reviewed.
For the traditional option, a minimum grade point average of no less than 3.0 is required to be considered for admission. Admission is competitive, and the mean GPA is consistently above a 3.0.
Applicants are strongly encouraged to apply as early in the respective fall or spring admission cycles as possible.
How to Apply
Admissions professional staff members will assist you in selecting the best admission option for your individual circumstances, preparation and goals. Prospective applicants are strongly encouraged to attend an Information Session at the School of Nursing. Frequent information sessions are available to provide advice and curriculum overviews for traditional BSN. An open question and answer period and group transcript evaluation is also provided.
