It is in your best interest to register as early as possible. An invoice will be generated once you register, but payment is not due until August 1, 2014. 

Instructions

1. Create a UM ID and Password

  1. Go to http://simsweb.umaryland.edu
  2. Click the blue box on the left side labeled Click Here to Sign on to SURFS
  3. Scroll down to the second paragraph and click on MyUM Account Management Site
  4. On the next screen, scroll down to and click on New First Time User
  5. A prompt will appear requesting you to create a user ID and password 
  6. After you have received an email from the School of Nursing stating that you are eligible to create your “official” campus email address, go to http://www.umaryland.edu/helpdesk/products/gae/CreatingNewAccount.pdf for instructions on how to create a campus email address. Your campus email address is the only official way the School of Nursing will relay important information to you electronically.
