CPR Card
You are required to provide UMSON with a copy of your CPR card. Fax, email, or mail the copy using the contact information below. Universities at Shady Grove students must also submit a copy of their CPR card to Kathie Dever by email, kdeve001@umaryland.edu, or fax, 301-738-6040. We accept CPR cards from:
- American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider
- American Red Cross CPR/AED Professional Rescuer
Online CPR training is not accepted. Certification must be completed within three months prior to the semester you are entering.
Flu Vaccine
You are required to submit proof that you received the current flu vaccine. Fax, email, or mail the documentation using the contact information below. Universities at Shady Grove students must submit a copy to Kathie Dever by email, kdeve001@umaryland.edu, or fax, 301-738-6040. Do not submit your flu vaccine documentation to Student Health.

Orientation Information
Orientation for BSN students accepted to UMSON in Baltimore will be held 8 a.m.-4:15 p.m. on Wednesday, January 18 and 11:30 a.m.-4:15 p.m. on Thursday, January 19. Attendance at both days is mandatory.
Orientation for BSN students accepted to the Universities at Shady Grove location will be held 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. on Thursday, January 12 and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Friday, January 13. Attendance at both days is mandatory.
New students MUST attend orientation to be officially enrolled.
RN to BSN/MS
