Family & Community Health
The Department of Family and Community Health (FCH) is comprised of faculty members with expertise in community/public health, pediatrics, psychiatric mental health, family health, and women's health. FCH faculty members play a key role in the education of students in entry level options (Bachelor of Science in Nursing [BSN] and Master of Science-Clinical Nurse Leader [MS-CNL]) and graduate level specialty options (MS, Doctor of Nursing Practice [DNP] and Doctor of Philosophy [PhD]). Areas of faculty expertise encompass all aspects of education, research, and practice.
FCH is home to the School of Nursing's first Center of Excellence—the Work and Health Research Center—which examines “organization of work” and its impact on health, with a focus on health and service sector workers.
