Directions to UMSON
The University of Maryland is located in downtown Baltimore, six blocks west of the Inner Harbor, across from the University of Maryland Medical Center. There is a fee for street or garage parking.
Directions to Visitor Parking
From the South Via I-95
From I-95, take I-395 (downtown Baltimore) and exit onto Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, staying in the right lane. At the fourth traffic light, turn right onto Baltimore Street. Turn left at the second traffic light onto Paca Street (get into right lane) and enter the Baltimore Grand Garage (visitors' parking) on the right. Follow directions below from the Baltimore Grand Garage to UMSON.
From the South Via 295
Take 295 (Baltimore-Washington Parkway) to its end. As it enters Baltimore, it becomes Russell Street, then Paca Street. The Baltimore Grand Garage is two blocks beyond Lombard Street on the right. Follow directions below from the Baltimore Grand Garage to UMSON.
From the South Via I-97
Take I-97 North to 695 West to 295 North and follow directions from the south via 295. Follow directions below from the Baltimore Grand Garage to UMSON.
From the North Via 1-95
Take I-95 South to 695 West to 83 South. Continue on 83 to its end, past exit 1 (Fayette Street). Make a right onto Lombard Street (continue through town for about one mile), turn right onto Paca Street. Visitors' parking is two blocks up on the right. Follow directions below from the Baltimore Grand Garage to UMSON.
From the East
Take I-95 South or I-895 South to I-395 (downtown Baltimore) and follow directions from the south via I-95. Follow directions below from the Baltimore Grand Garage to UMSON.
From the West
Take I-70 East to 695 South to I-95 North. From I-95, take I-395 (downtown Baltimore) and follow directions from the south via I-95. Follow directions below from the Baltimore Grand Garage to UMSON.
From Baltimore Grand Garage
Exit the garage on Paca Street using the Paca Street elevators. Make a left, walking opposite the flow of traffic. Cross over Baltimore Street. A few blocks down turn right onto Lombard Street. The School of Nursing is located at 655 W. Lombard Street — just a couple blocks down on your left. We are on the corner of Lombard and Penn St.
Directions To Pratt Street Garage
From I-95
Take Rt. 395 Exit 53 (downtown Baltimore). Exit onto Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. Stay in the right lane. At the second traffic light, turn right onto Pratt Street, immediately merging to the far left lane. Cross Penn Street then turn left into the entrance for the Pratt St. Garage.
From I-83
At the end of the expressway turn west (right) onto Lombard Street. Proceed to Penn Street. Turn left onto Penn Street and then left into the driving lanes entering the Pratt Street Garage.
